人其实很难真正自由，锁住人的，往往是那人自己。不知不觉，我们不是做了感情的奴隶，就是事业的婢仆。

世上有两种病人，一种想痊愈，另一种不想。努力想好起来的不一定成功，但放弃的，必然能够得偿所愿。

所以，还是努力想好起来吧。

So thanksgiving is about giving thanks.

My first thanksgiving was spent in Singapore at Jen's house, somewhere along that Bukit Timah Road (weird name). My second one in New Jersey. Third one in Boston. Now up to the fourth one in New York. I really hope that mom or dad is here with me.

Bill Richards says that the US economy is not coming back, and we will see from the holiday season's sales numbers. Well go figure. I kinda suspect it won't, but even the smartest people make mistakes.

So instead of doing something more interesting I ended up cleaning and watching 500 days with summer. I liked it a lot especially the fact that you don't necessarily have to wear a black suit in LA. Reminded me of the old TV show the O.C. It is interesting because it is a romance movie but also kinda philosophical. It is also interesting because nobody would have the incentive to catch it in the theaters. First it is a breakup movie and not one with a happy ending, so guys won't have the incentive to ask girls to watch it with them. So I am guessing it is kind of a girl's movie. You can sort of tell because Summer's actually not that pretty. Just wondering what kind of girl would want to watch such a movie. I guess guys will be deceived into watching it because the trailer did not give away the ending. It somehow reminds me of the Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Maybe because they like to give strange names to girls. Well, but I still liked it A LOT for some strange reason. I think every girl can see a little of themselves in Summer (well technically I can't speak for every girl but). Technically, the story tells us that if there is a really good thing standing in front of you, no matter what it is (girl, chocolate brownie…) you should think twice before letting your emotions get the better of you. Or you will turn out looking ridiculous like Tom, who actually looks really likable when he is normal but just ridiculous when he is losing it. And he is getting grocery wearing his pajamas. Instead of doing that, he should really think positive, be responsible to himself. Nobody can save him if he just gives up on himself. Well, guess he figured it out in the end (good for Tom!).

And New Moon is definitely a very badly made movie. The reason anyone would want to see it will be either out of boredom or out of some kind of strange desire to imagine herself being the main character. But really, if you want to sell on hot guys, a lot of movies can do better than that. Guess director's just off for a few quick bucks. Overall, really badly made. 

到立化以后才开始接触organizer的。小学生一般都有一个记作业的小本子，写完了作业以后画一个勾，表示作业完成。所有项目勾完了，表示睡觉|游戏时间开始了。Organizer原本的作用是记录每天需要完成的计划，作业什么时间要交，等。

但是现在的organizer越来越精确化，复杂化。人的生活仿佛编好的程式。我每天睡觉前在床前贴纸条，计划明天早晨是吃鸡蛋香肠还是鸡蛋培根。计划早餐后是先晨读还是先回邮件。第二天爬起来，阅读纸条，照着程序一步步来。我从记不住我曾经和谁谈话，谈的内容是什么。但是我保存通讯记录，下次谈话之前调用一下，作为继续谈话的参考。人为自己的生活编出了复杂的程序，为的是能按照程序的顺序走。时间久了，人慢慢退化成了机器。我通常记不住人的面孔，可是看着这个人的名片，我能联想出他的面孔和我们的谈话。

我以上说的都是一派胡言。
